A unique Experience

My portrait process is a collaborative experience. Commissioning a painting with me is an immersive process involving discovery and reflection. My goal is to make a piece that reflects how you truly want to be seen.

This is not your everyday portrait. This work was created as an offering to those who want to honor their life journey. To honor loved ones. To be present in magic.

The Process

Reach Out

Fill out the contact form on the commissions page. Be sure to give as many details as possible. I will be in correspondence within 1-2 business days.

An Understanding

I will send a contract outlining our project. Nothing too wordy. Just an agreement about expectations, deadlines and payments. A 25% deposit will be due after signing the contract.

A Deep Dive

You’ll get a questionnaire to get some creative sparks flying. Next we’ll schedule a chat to go over your vision in detail.

The Work

I begin making something special. I start with a unique sketch. Once approved, I begin the painting process. Painting time will depend on the kind of painting you’ve chosen. You will be allotted no more than 2 edits during the process.

FAQs

  • Each painting is unique and mary vary in time according to size and medium. Digital portraits are fastest and take between 1-2 weeks. Watercolor paintings will take longer due to drying time. Expect 2-3 weeks for small watercolors and up to 8 weeks for larger sizes.

  • After filling out the contact form, I will reach out with a contract and quote. Once you have signed the contract, I will send an invoice. I require a 25% non-refundable deposit to secure our agreement. I will send a final invoice once the finished painting is approved. The remaining deposit will be due before delivery of the painting.

  • Group paintings can be done upon certain requests. I provide a very unique style and experience, which means that I don’t replicate individual/group photography. I use multiple photos as reference to create a new representation of the subjects.

    If requested, I try to limit group portraits to four people. Please feel free to enquire about extra people. Accommodations may be possible and subject to extra charge.

  • Yes! As long as clear, detailed photos can be provided.

  • I’ve designed my process so that I can paint anytime, anywhere. You do not have to be local to “sit” for a portrait. I work from provided photographs and information from our chat.

  • Yes! I can ship anywhere in the US. Please enquire about international shipping.

    Shipping fees will be totaled into final cost of painting.

  • In my reply email, I will outline the photo perimeters needed for photos. We will discuss the ideal poses and angles that best suit the nature of the painting. In short, the photos should have clear details with good lighting. The best photos will have a full form without cropping.

  • Returns are not accepted at this time. All paintings go through a pre-approval process agreed upon by both the client and the artist. Once the painting is paid for and handed off, returns are not possible.
